GöteborgsOperan AB is a community-owned company employing around 500 people per year. In total around 300 shows are staged every year for around 250,000 visitors on the Main Stage, the Small Stage and throughout the region. We have a turnover of around 380 million SEK of which around 30% is from our own resources. The Göteborg Opera is a diverse workplace with roughly the same number of male and female employees. The orchestra has 86 members.

The Göteborg Opera is receiving applications for

Trombone tenor/bass

to Göteborg Opera Orchestra. This is a permanent full-time position with initial trial period starting 2023 according to agreement.

Digital audition with video should be submitted no later than 9 October 2022. A first selection will be made based on the delivered material and a number of applicants will be invited to audition in Gothenburg 31 October 2022. Notice of which candidates have been selected will be given no later than 16 October 2022.

Compulsory pieces:
F.David: Trombone concertino op 4, 1st movement with cadenza.
Lebedev: Concerto no 1 in one movement (stop after cadenza)
