We have a broad repertoire of operas, dances and musicals and are an important player in the development of the region. GöteborgsOperan AB is a wholly community-owned company employing around 500 people each year. In total around 300 shows are staged per year for around 250,000 visitors on the Main Stage, the Small Stage and throughout the region. We have a turnover of around 380 million SEK of which around 30% is from our own resources. The Göteborg Opera is a diverse workplace with roughly the same number of male and female employees.The orchestra has 86 members and their musical director is Henrik Schaefer.

The Göteborg Opera is looking for Cello tutti from 2020-08-01

Audition: Monday-Tuesday March 16-17 2020.

Compulsory pieces:

• Haydn: Celloconcerto in D-major, 1st movement, with optional cadenza 
• Dvorak or Schumann: Celloconcerto, 1st movement.
• Orchestral excerpts and ensemble audition.

 Deadline for application March 8. 2020.
